Terms of service

1. The service

Broker Diligence is provided by ALGD LTD, company number NI744090, 121 Glencam Road, Omagh, Tyrone, BT79 7HB, United Kingdom, contact support@brokerdiligence.app.

Broker Diligence ("we") provides hosted software that records, timestamps and exports the result of the carrier diligence a broker performs on a load: the fields the broker enters or looks up, the evidence files the broker uploads, and a SHA-256 digest over them.

2. What this product is not

We are not a carrier-monitoring or vetting service. We do not tell you that a carrier is safe, insured or legal, and we do not verify the accuracy of what you enter or of any answer returned by a third-party lookup. The record is of what was shown and checked at a point in time. You decide whether a carrier is acceptable, and the record documents that decision.

3. Your account and your data

You own the records you create. You may export them at any time. We process them to run the service.

4. Availability

The service is provided on a best-efforts basis, with no uptime commitment. The optional FMCSA lookup depends on a third-party public service and may be unavailable without affecting the rest of the product.

5. Fees

The plan is $29 per month for one workspace, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. See the refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to store data you are not entitled to store, and do not upload personal data about individuals that the diligence record does not require.

7. Evidential weight

Every snapshot carries a timestamp and a SHA-256 digest, and the digest is recomputed when the record is displayed and exported, so tampering with a stored snapshot would be visible. We make no representation about what weight a court, an insurer or a shipper will give that record.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude liability for consequential loss.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period and export stays available for 30 days after that.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
